About the Artist
Haus of Lucy is a contemporary bricolage artist who transforms the traditional into the contemporary and the un-loved into the desirable — whether that’s a ceramic figurine, an old master painting, a Delft tile, or even a horse brass. Her art is social commentary, sometimes straying into the political, but always with a playful element.
Much of Lucy’s work explores the changing landscape of modern life, from the homogenisation of high streets to the shifting ways communities connect. By reimagining familiar and nostalgic objects, she highlights the tension between past and present, inviting viewers to consider what we gain and what we lose.
