Founded in 2021, Camden Open Air Gallery began during lockdown, when shuttered shopfronts on Camden High Street became our first exhibition walls. Working with graffiti artists and local creatives, we transformed closed doors into a public gallery — charting graffiti’s evolution from 1980s pioneers to today’s emerging talent. This set the tone for our approach: authentic, direct, and unfiltered.
Since then, we’ve grown from street-level exhibitions to all aspects of the art world: gallery shows, artist representation, creative direction, and brand collaborations. Our roster spans street artists, studio practitioners, and voices often overlooked by traditional institutions.

"Our edge is access. to the artists, the work, and the culture before the market catches on. Being based in Camden and relatively young, we’re not here to fill our walls with Hirsts or Banksy’s. Our gallery space is dedicated to those who can’t get wall space elsewhere, the artists defining what’s next. Behind the scenes, we operate in the traditional market, but our public face is focused entirely on discovery. It’s a deliberate split: the gallery builds the future; the back end ensures it’s taken seriously" - Finn Brewster Doherty
COAG is now an established point of connection for brands, collectors, and cultural partners seeking work with edge and credibility. We deliver access to artists whose work captures the energy and narratives of our time, before the wider market catches on.
Since then, we have expanded from street-level exhibitions to all aspects of the art market: gallery shows, artist representation, creative direction, and brand collaborations. Our roster includes artists from the street, from studios, and from backgrounds often overlooked by traditional institutions.
We are not reinventing the gallery; we are modernising what it means to be one. Rooted in culture, engaged with the market, and committed to bringing the street’s influence into the heart of contemporary art.
